My name is Giada Salvatori. After earning my degree in Computer Science for Management from the University of Bologna in October 2018, I embarked on my professional career in the IT sector. During my university studies, the Database course was a turning point, making me realize how data forms the foundation of decision-making processes, research, and statistical analysis, as well as the importance of different storage methods depending on how data is used. I started in 2018 as Help Desk in a consulting firm in Modena, an experience that allowed me to build a solid technical foundation and grow horizontally across various market technologies, leading to my specialization as a Database Administrator in 2021. In recent years, my interests have expanded with the rise of Artificial Intelligence applied to databases, aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of data-driven systems—systems where decisions, behaviors, and processes are guided by data.
