Is the event free?
Yes, DevFest Modena is completely free. It is organized on a non-profit basis by local tech communities. Our sponsors help us cover costs to keep it accessible to everyone.
Is lunch included for free?
Yes, lunch is included for free for all registered ticket holders!
I have dietary restrictions or food allergies, what should I do?
We cater to different dietary needs! When registering your ticket you can specify your requirements. If you missed it, just email us at info@devfest.modena.it and we’ll assist you.
Do I need a ticket to attend DevFest Modena?
Yes, attending DevFest Modena is free but registration is mandatory.
I registered for a ticket but can no longer attend, what should I do?
If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation through the ticketing platform or email us at info@devfest.modena.it so we can give your spot to someone on the waiting list.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No printing is needed! Just show the QR code from your confirmation email on your smartphone at the entrance for quick check-in.
Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?
Unfortunately no, tickets are strictly nominal for venue access rules. Please cancel your registration and have your friend register for their own ticket.
Can I leave the conference and come back later?
Yes! You can freely leave and return anytime during the day using your attendee badge received at check-in.
What should I bring to the event?
Your digital ticket on your phone, a laptop if you are attending hands-on workshops, and enthusiasm to learn and meet fellow tech enthusiasts! :)
Can I attend if I am not a developer?
Absolutely! DevFest Modena is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to anyone interested in technology, regardless of background or role.
Will there be a live online stream of the talks?
Talks will be recorded and published online after the event, but there is no live stream. We encourage in-person attendance for optimal networking and hands-on interactions.
How do I participate in workshops?

Is this an official Google event?
No, DevFest Modena is organized independently by local tech communities (GDG Cloud Modena, Modena Full Stack, Reggio Emilia Full Stack, Conoscere Linux). Google supports the global DevFest format.
