General

Introduction

GDG Cloud Modena is dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or other protected categories. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. GDG Cloud Modena takes violations of this policy very seriously and will respond accordingly.

Policy

All participants at DevFest Modena 2026 must adhere to the following policy:

  1. Be respectful to each other. We want the event to be an excellent and welcoming experience for everyone. Treat all participants with respect. Participate with the understanding that everyone deserves to be here and that each person has the right to enjoy their experience free from harassment, discrimination, or condescending behavior, whether overt or in the form of microaggressions.

  2. If you see or hear something, speak up. Harassment is not tolerated. You have the right to politely intervene if you or others are treated disrespectfully. If an attendee engages in harassing behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event without refund. If you are experiencing harassment or notice it happening to someone else, immediately reach out to event staff.

  3. Zero tolerance for harassment. Harassment includes, but is not limited to: offensive verbal comments related to gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, neurodiversity, race, or religion; deliberate intimidation; stalking; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

  4. Practice saying “Yes, and…” to each other. Build on ideas collaboratively—we all thrive when creating together.

This policy applies to conferences, forums, workshops, codelabs, social media, parties, informal talks, attendees, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and event staff. GDG Cloud Modena reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person from DevFest Modena 2026 at any time at its sole discretion.
