OpenSpec: Spec-Driven Development in the Age of AI Agents

Vibecoding promises speed, but on real-world projects it leaves behind chaos, lost context, and hard-to-maintain code. In this talk, I show why the real leap isn’t “having AI write more code”, but constraining it with clear, versioned, and verifiable specifications. Starting from OpenSpec, I discuss how to transition from improvised chat sessions to intent-driven development: fewer hallucinations, less vendor lock-in, and greater control.
