If artificial intelligence is now everywhere and integrated into countless work tools, why isn't productivity rising at the same pace? This talk draws a distinction between deploying a technology and generating real value. Organizations and developers often measure success by user counts, generation speeds, prompts run, or theoretical hours saved. However, these metrics don't prove an actual business process has improved. From an economic perspective, this talk demonstrates that AI only creates productivity when applied to a concrete workflow bottleneck, altering a decision, and producing measurable before-and-after results. In ten minutes, an actionable framework to move past benchmarks and demos: ask which process changes, which friction is removed, and which outcome is truly measurable.

Speakers should arrive shortly before the session starts so they have time to prepare.
