Last year at the Festival, I presented a reflection on how people who use AI react, urging developers to take responsibility not only for technical aspects but also for their cognitive, relational, and emotional impact. Now, the idea is to turn that same reflection “to their side of the screen.”

According to the Anthropic Economic Index, 2026 (Labor Market Impacts), computer scientists and software developers are among the professions most deeply impacted by AI. We will therefore not focus on the fears and emotional reactions of the end-user, but on the possible emotional responses of those who write algorithms, analyzing what can happen and how this perception and resulting emotional response can influence both how they do their work and their self-perception.
