Data architectural sins

We are used to thinking that scalability comes with more raw power: faster CPUs, horizontal scaling, more RAM, and—sometimes—a quantized model. Well, we are wrong. Scalability comes from trade-offs, the right architecture, and, sometimes, very ugly schemas.
