The Chapel of the Boarders (Cappella dei Convittori), completed in 1852 to designs by Cesare Costa, presents a rich, solemn setting with gilded stuccowork by Venturi and ceiling medallions by Ferdinando Manzini depicting the Cardinal Virtues. The altar features Antonio Consetti’s 18th-century masterpiece ‘Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple’.
