Sala Demontis lies between the church and the main courtyard, in the oldest wing of the palace. The audience area occupies the former oratory of the Congregation of the Rosary, whose members once gathered here in a room complete with an altar and sacred images on the walls.
Its present architecture dates from restoration work carried out in the 1970s. A rear wall, no longer standing, once separated this space from the imposing sacristy, where the speakers’ table now stands. Unlike the former oratory, the sacristy still preserves all its original furnishings and paintings from the final decades of the seventeenth century.
Capacity: 82 people.
