You have an AI that wants to do things, and services that know how to do them, but they don’t talk to each other. MCP is the protocol that solves exactly this: a standard layer for connecting tools, APIs and data to LLMs. We’ll see how to build one from scratch, over stdio and HTTP, with JavaScript.
